The female quick connect seals up very well without a lot of work when connecting. These feature 1/2" Barb on the ends for easy connectivity to any 1/2" tubing you may have. Made from 304 stainless steel. For typical brewing applications, this connection will hold pressure when moving liquids at 60 PSI or less.

Our use for this is to attach silicone tubing to the barb, then use the Malt quick connect on our brew pots, and mash tuns. These makes transferring our silicone hosing from pot to pot really easy!
